Welcome to our 'Sans Souci'
Cathy and I were in the middle of the mid life crisis; the motorbikes did not stop the yearning for a different lifestyle. We fell in love with France, its people, the way of life (and of course the wine!) after many wonderful motorcycle touring holidays in this beautiful South-West region.
So we decided to do the craziest thing either of us have ever done in our lives and that was to give up our jobs and home in the UK and follow a dream.
We love exploring the pretty villages and the walking, cycling and driving routes in the area.
'Sans Souci' is the perfect holiday base for families, couples and friends alike. You can relax by the pool and with the use of the outdoor summer kitchen dine alfresco under the shade of the large covered dining area.
Should you be feeling a little more energetic you are more than welcome to have the use of the bicycles we have.
You should also take time out to explore one of the many bastide towns in the area plus a day out at the nearby lake Lougratte with its beach, kayaking and other water sports is highly recommended.
The nearby town of Castillonnes with its selection of restaurants, bars and cinema is ideal for both exploring and evenings out.
